Sue-Ann Harding is assistant professor of translation studies at the Translation and Interpreting Institute at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Doha, Qatar. She is the author of Beslan: Six Stories of the Siege (2012) and several articles in leading translation studies publications, as well as co-editor of the IATIS online journal New Voices in Translation Studies and Translation Studies Abstracts Online. Her research interests include social-narrative approaches to media and literary translation, intersemiotic translation and issues of collective memory, national identity, civil society and social justice.
