Abstract
The optical spectra and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) g and A factors of calcium aluminoborate glasses (CaAB) : VO2+ are calculated using a complete diagonalization (of the energy matrix) process (CDP). Good agreement between the theoretical values and experimental results indicates the effectiveness of the CDP method for theoretical studies of optical and EPR spectra of 3d1 (or V4+) ions in glasses.
