Abstract
Using a double Laplace and Fourier transform of the transport equation for the divacancy, we obtain the exact values of the return probabilities of the vacancy in the close vicinity of the tracer atom. The final value falls within the confidence interval determined by Monte-Carlo simulations of previous investigators, and last but not least, the diagonal elements t11 and t22 of the T matrix are shown to be equal. Future developments of the method are presented.
