William M. Fliss
William M. Fliss is Manuscripts Archivist at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with responsibility for over 100 collections, including the famous J.R.R. Tolkien Collection. He engages in all aspects of archives management: collecting, accessioning, processing, reference/access services, and outreach. He holds a M.L.I.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and a PhD. in History from Marquette University, with an emphasis on U.S. religious history.
