Notes

1 The Kibbutz program at Camp Swig was named after Kibbutz Re’im in southern Israel. Members of Kibbutz Re’im came to camp in the early 1970s and inspired the creation of a Kibbutz-like experience at Camp Swig. Thus, the Swig Kibbutz community was named after their home in Israel.

2 The Union Institute is now the Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute.

3 Camp Saratoga eventually came to be known as Camp Swig.
