In the article, “Islamic Goals for Clinical Treatment at the End of Life: The Concept of Accountability Before God (Taklīf) Remains Useful: Response to Open Peer Commentaries on ‘Ethical Obligations and Clinical Goals in End-of-Life Care: Deriving a Quality-of-Life Construct Based on the Islamic Concept of Accountability Before God (Taklīf)’” by Aasim Padela and Afshan Mohiuddin, which appeared in American Journal of Bioethics 15(1) on pp. W1-W8, the authors incorrectly referred to one of the commentators of their article, Shahram Ahmadi Nasab Emran, as Emran. This author's full last name should have been used throughout as Ahmadi Nasab Emran. The corresponding reference in the reference list should have then read:
Ahmadi Nasab Emran, S. 2015. Islamic bioethics at the end of life: Why mukallaf status cannot be the criterion of defining the life that should be saved. American Journal of Bioethics 15(1): 27–28.
