Journal of Family Communication – Editorial Note

As editor, I appreciate all of the time and effort put forward by many in service of the Journal of Family Communication. I would like to extend my appreciation to members of the editorial board, who do a substantial amount of work reviewing manuscripts submitted to the journal. In addition to editorial board members, I also rely on ad hoc reviewers to ensure the most appropriate level of expertise for every manuscript submitted to the journal for peer review. Listed below are all of the ad hoc reviewers who generously gave their time and expertise for manuscripts submitted to the journal during 2019. Several of these manuscripts reviewed by these ad hoc reviewers are those published in volume 20 (issues 1–4) of the Journal of Family Communication. I would also like to provide a special thanks to everyone who has assisted me during my tenure as editor of the journal. It has been a joy to serve as editor of the journal these past years.
