Abstract
The environmental impacts of carbon capture and storage (CCS) or carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) are very important not only for local public acceptance, but also for long-term project operations. This paper summarizes the key pollutants and reviews the probable environmental risks associated with carbon capture, transmission, and enhanced oil recovery and sequestration.
