Abstract

This study examined the relationship between urban residents' life satisfaction and five life domains—health perception, wealth, safety, community contentment, and cultural tourism development—and investigated whether the perceived life domains discriminated between high and low life satisfaction groups. A survey with convenience sample of 364 residents was administered in Indianapolis. The results showed that the five domains were positively related to life satisfaction and that they discriminated between high and low life satisfaction groups with 72% accuracy.
