Abstract
Clinical library services (CLS) are offered by academic, hospital, and other health professional librarians. The literature documents many academic programs but there are few hospital librarians describing their experiences with CLS services in the literature. Hospital librarians considering these services need an overview of services that could be offered using this powerful marketing tool. This article will provide an overview of CLS and provide comments from individuals currently providing CLS on the benefits and concerns on this type of outreach.
