Abstract
This article presents a methodology for electrical network reconfiguration to minimize voltage sags indices. The voltage sag analysis is carried out by means of an analytical method. A tabu search algorithm is implemented to find the optimal configuration in an electrical system to decrease voltage sags indices. The proposed algorithm is implemented in MATLAB® (The MathWorks, Natick, Massachusetts, USA). Several case studies in IEEE test systems of 57 and 118 buses are presented showing the performance of the proposed methodology.
