Abstract
In this autoethnographic sketch, I consider photography as a certain sort of disabled labor within the context of seeking and finding rest on a walk to work. I suggest this activity represents a form of sensemaking in my lifeworld.

Peter Joseph Gloviczki
Peter Joseph Gloviczki (PhD, Mass Communication, University of Minnesota, 2012) works as an associate professor of communication at Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina. His first book is Journalism and Memorialization in the Age of Social Media (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015). His autoethnographies have appeared in Qualitative Inquiry, Journal of Loss and Trauma, The Qualitative Report, and elsewhere.
