7. CCSDS standards routinely undergo a five-year review, and the process is now complete. Changes included “numerous small clarifications … [including] improved treatments of Authenticity, Information Properties and a new PDI [Preservation Description Information] category for Access Rights.” The revised version will be available by the end of 2009.
