Abstract
The study aimed at gaining understanding of the mental health and resilience of employees’ at hotels used as quarantine facilities during COVID-19 pandemic. Data was collected from 240 hotel employees. Descriptive statistics, correlation and chi-square were used to explore the variables of the study. There was relatively low levels of resilience among hotel employees with an overwhelming prevalence and symptoms of COVID-19 induced depression, anxiety and stress among employees. COVID-19 induced depression, anxiety and stress correlated positively with each other. Implications of the results for mental healthcare services in the hospitality industry are discussed.
