Welcome to this special issue of the Journal of Library & Information Services in Distance Learning. This special issue provides the proceedings for the 2020 Distance Library Services Conference, which was held virtually November 3-4, 2020.
A huge congratulation goes to Ms. Kat Phillips and Ms. Torrie Raish, and all those involved with the planning, organization, and presentation of the conference. Thank you for all your hard work and for delivering such a wonderful conference. As with everything else in 2020, the DLS Conference was impacted by COVID. Originally scheduled for July and to be held at Penn State University, Kat and Torrie had to pivot! Kat and Torrie were forced to delay the Conference until November with hopes that a face-to-face conference would still take place. When face-to-face was ruled out, they moved the conference to a virtual platform, Whova, to continue providing this Conference to the distance learning library community.
As with our previous issues, we hope that you will find this issue interesting and informative. I hope that you enjoy reading about the programs that were offered at the Conference and that they pique your interest for the next Conference. As always, please submit your manuscripts to us. We would love to hear what you and your library are doing to support your distance education community.
I hope you enjoy this issue of our Journal.
