Abstract

Re-determination of fullerenes in Chinese ink sticks and their raw soots by reverse-phase HPLC analysis revealed much smaller contents of C₆₀ and C₇₀ than previously reported, 3 ppm at most. The older sticks tend to yield less C₆₀ than the more recent ones.
