ABSTRACT

The aim of this paper is to present the effects of nonlinear convection on boundary layer flow of micropolar fluid over an exponentially stretching sheet in presence of exponentially moving free stream. Radiative heat transfer has also been considered. Using similarity transformations the governing partial differential equations are reduced to ordinary differential equations and the nonlinear equations are then solved numerically with the help of shooting technique and Runge-Kutta method. The influences of the various interesting parameters on flow and heat transfer are analyzed and discussed in detail through the tables and plotted graphs. It is found that fluid velocity increases but angular velocity and temperature decrease with an increase in the mixed convection parameter.
