In the version of this article originally published three plots relative to Annexin V assays were mistakenly duplicated when assembling the figures: those relative to NCI-H28 and MSTO-211H treated with nutlin-3 (figure 3A) and that corresponding to HCT 116 p53 –/– + pCEFL-HA p.Arg249Ser p53 treated with RITA (figure 5A). The correct plot for each biological sample has now been substituted in a revised version of figures 3A and 5A. Please note that, however, the values of Annexin V-FITC positive cells that were originally reported as percentages in each image were indeed correct and each referred to its proper experimental sample, meaning that the results and conclusions remain unchanged and unaffected. The authors apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused.
