Food Safety for the Consumer

Abstract

With more media attention being given to nutrition, health, and safety, it is important to be able to locate and provide consumers with information that will be both useful and relevant in the area of food safety. Smartphone technology, mobile computing, and abundant wi-fi have made it much easier for consumers to access information from virtually anywhere. This column highlights some reliable sources of information on the topic of food safety across a variety of mediums.
