ABSTRACT
The implementation of a process therapy group with master’s-level students in a counseling program is a time-honored expectation in the group-training process. A narrative framework discussion focuses on the practices used to enhance personal growth in a group setting, a review of the coleaders’ reflective process throughout the group, and an evaluation of the effectiveness of narrative approaches in group work with counselors-in-training. Examples of narrative prompts and evaluation tools are provided along with considerations and recommendations for future practice.
