ABSTRACT
Learning and applying the philosophy, concepts, and application of counseling theories is a key aspect of competency for masters-level counseling students. This article demonstrates how drama can be used as a creative medium to teach counselor trainees to learn, apply, and communicate counseling theoretical concepts and increase their self-efficacy. The article describes two experiential activities in which students dramatize the identities of well-known counseling theorists while interacting with each other. Activity prompts and discussion questions are provided, and implications related to self-efficacy are presented.
