The current editors-in-chief for Popular Communication: The International Journal of Media and Culture invite expressions of interest from established scholars in the field to submit applications for editor-in-chief starting January 2019. Applicants should present a distinctive identity and trajectory for the journal, a vision statement, and a statement of committed institutional support for editor-in-chief duties. If a joint application is submitted, an additional statement addressing division of labor in decision-making should also be included. Full academic CVs should accompany each application.
If selected, the winning applicant/s will begin an unpaid training period beginning about January 1, 2018 and ending December 31 of that year. It is anticipated that Taylor & Francis, the publisher, will make new arrangements with the incoming editors early in the training period.
