ABSTRACT
As the continuing effort for efficient blue emitting materials, two fluoranthene derivatives containing fluorene and diarylamine moiety are designed and synthesized to develop the highly efficient blue emitters. To investigate their electroluminescent properties, the OLED devices were fabricated as following structure: ITO (180 nm)/ NPB (50 nm)/ blue emitter 1 or 2 (30 nm)/ Bphen (30 nm)/ Liq (2 nm)/ Al (100 nm). All devices showed efficient blue emissions. Particularly, a device using material 1 exhibited efficient blue emission with luminous efficiency of 3.93 cd/A, power efficiency of 1.65 lm/W, external quantum efficiency of 3.20% at 20 mA/cm2, respectively.
