Abstract
New form of tetramethyl pyrazine-5-chloro salicylic acid co-crystal was synthesized and grown using as a methanol solvent. The single x-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the grown crystal exhibits monoclinic structure with C2/c space group. The FTIR, FT-Raman and FT-NMR spectral studies were confirmed the presence of functional groups in the title compound. The maximum absorption was observed at 302 nm from the UV-Visible spectral studies. Blue emission was confirmed by the photoluminescence studies. Second harmonic generation efficiency was observed by Kurtz-Perry powder technique. The electrical and mechanical properties were analyzed by dielectric and micro hardness studies.
