1 Greywater is defined as all wastewater that does not include toilet sources, and sometimes includes kitchen sources (Jokerst et al. Citation2012, 3).

2 Founded in 2002, the USAID Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation ‘… analyzes the causes and consequences of violent conflict, supports early warning and early response to violent conflict, and integrates conflict mitigation and analysis into USAID’s analysis, strategies and programs’ (USAID Citation2012). CMM promotes training, outreach and technical assistance in conflict areas including the West Bank and Gaza.
