ABSTRACT
This article describes PDA-based library instruction for second-year medical students. The class, “Camp PDA,” was set up to assist students in the installation and use of handheld devices and applications that are a required part of the University of Medicine and Dentistry's (UMDNJ) New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) curriculum. The students who participated in “Camp PDA” brought with them different devices, varied levels of skill with their handheld units, and different attitudes about the use of the PDA both in the classroom and in the clinical setting.
