Using AutoIt to Simplify Scripting

ABSTRACT

Scripting languages foster the easy and rapid development of simple programs. They are ideal when used to automate repetitive actions that control existing computer programs. This article presents two scenarios where repetitive actions are automated, saving library staff time and effort. The scripts are developed using AutoIt, a scripting package.
