ABSTRACT

Medical educators create quiz games based on the Jeopardy! Television game show to supplement or replace traditional lectures. This article compares three free tools that can be used to develop Jeopardy-style games. Jeopardy™ A Resource for Teaching, a PowerPoint template developed by Rochelle Schwartz-Bloom, and web-based tools provided by JeopardyLabs and FlipQuiz are discussed. A comparison of the overall appearance, ease and level of customization, availability of support, technology, and enhanced features of these resources is provided.
