Wool Carbonization with an Energy-Efficient Drying Process

ABSTRACT

The article presents methods of wool carbonization and describes the parameters of the individual stages of the technological processes. The wool parameters were also tested before and after the carbonization process. Particular attention was paid to the energy-saving drying process of loose wool in the carbonization process. The energy efficiency of drying is affected by such parameters as: drying rate and efficiency, heat consumption per unit and energy efficiency of the dryer. There are also conditions, e.g. ambient humidity and evenness of wool moisture and its moisture after centrifugation. High degree of water removal substantially decreases the power consumption during the process of drying. It was found that the energy-efficient process of drying loose wool is mainly influenced by the design of the dryer enabling the achievement of high economic and efficiency parameters.

本文介绍了羊毛炭化的方法,并对工艺过程各个阶段的参数进行了描述.对羊毛炭化前后的各项参数进行了测试.在炭化过程中,重点研究了松散羊毛的节能干燥工艺.干燥效率受干燥速度和效率、单位热耗和干燥机能效等参数的影响.

也有一些条件,例如环境湿度和羊毛水分的均匀性以及离心后的水分.在干燥过程中,高度脱水可大大降低能耗.

研究发现,松羊毛干燥的节能过程主要受干衣机设计的影响,实现了较高的经济性和效率参数.
