Abstract

The authors offer a second response to James L. Fosshage, in a dialogue concerning the depiction of therapeutic action with respect to self psychology. In addressing Fosshage's critique, they respond to specific points he has made as well as reflect on the value and nature of such interactions across schools of psychoanalytic thought.
