Editor’s Note

I am delighted to introduce this current slate of articles. The first four, which are guest edited by Abby Wilkerson and include her introduction, comprise a special cluster examining the meanings of “good food.” The remaining articles, which are stand alone submissions, reflect the diversity of methods, sources and topics in food studies, including literature, history, sociology, anthropology, cultural studies, material culture and museum studies. Many thanks to all those who participated in the peer review process for this issue. Without their efforts and skills we would not be able to publish research of such quality.
