Abstract
The new complexes of bis(cyclomercurated) bisferrocenylimines were synthesised in good yields by the cyclomercuration of Schiff bases bearing acylferrocene and p‐phenylenediamine at room temperature. All the new compounds' identities were completely elucidated by various spectroscopic methods. The X‐ray crystal structure confirmed that the mercury was directed into the ortho‐position of substituted Cp ring and showed the presence of two N→Hg coordinations via two 5‐membered rings in these molecules.
