Abstract
Bimetallic tungstophosphates were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions, using various templates: Ethylene diamine; 1,3-diaminopropane; N,N′-dimethylpiperazine, 2-diethylaminoethylamine and 3-diethylaminopropylamine with different metal cations: CoII, FeII and NiII. The compounds, obtained without any mineralizing agent, were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, chemical and thermal analyses, scanning electron microscopy and FTIR and Mössbauer spectroscopies. For comparison purposes, the performances of the products as heterogeneous catalysts were tested in a probe reaction for the oxidation of acetaldehyde with H2O2.
