Abstract

A new PbII-compound, [Pb(H2pimdc)2(H2O)2]n (1)(H3pimdc = 2-propyl-4,5-imidazole dicarboxy- late), has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized. Single crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that in 1, μ3-H2pimdc anion act as linker to connect PbII into 2D (4,4) coordination network, which are further extended to a 3D supramolecular network with (3,6,6)-connected (32·42·52·64·74·10) (32·42·52·66·73)2(4·62)2 topology through R1 2(8) H-bonding rings. In additional, photoluminescence and thermal stability of 1 have been investigated as well.
