Abstract
A heterotetranuclear complex, [Et4N]2[Pd2Ag2(μ-dppm)2(i-mnt)4]·2DMF·MeCN, was synthesized by reaction with [Ag2(μ-dppm)2(MeCN)2](SbF6)2 and [Et4N]2[Pd(i-mnt)2] (i-mnt is 2,2-dicyanoethylene-1,1-dithiolate) as components and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, 31P NMR, and UV-vis spectra. Structure of the complex was determined by X-ray analysis. The results of structural analysis show that not only the weakly coordinated acetonitrile molecules of the [Ag2(μ-dppm)2(MeCN)2]2+ unit were substituted, but also the skeleton of it was changed, which is different from the complexes by the self-assembly with [Ag2(μ-dppm)2(MeCN)2](SbF6)2 and some metal thiolates as components.
