Abstract
Hierarchical titanium oxide nanostructure over conducting carbon fabric is realized via hydrothermal route, which shows great potential as wearable field emitter and photo-catalyst. In response to external applied electric field, the branched hierarchy exhibits excellent electron emission ability with low turn-on field of 2.9 V/μm. Additionally it shows improved field emission performances in extreme bending condition. It also displays excellent recyclable environmental remediation ability through catalytic degradation of hazardous dye (orange II) under UV illumination.
