Abstract
This study focuses on the preparation and characterization of single phase CuInS2 nanoparticles with [diaquabis(salisylate)copper(II)], [Cu(Hsal)2(H2O)2] as precursor via microwave technique. Several effects on product morphology have been investigated, such as sulfur sources, solvent, power, and time of microwave. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, UV-visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and photoluminescence spectroscopy. Thin films CuInS2 were prepared by doctor's blade method and then studied via I-V characterization.
