Abstract
The electrocatalysis properties of the dual catalysts system composed of metal nitrophthalocyanines (TNMPc, M=Fe, Ni, and Cu) and nano-manganese dioxide (nano-MnO2) in alkaline media were studied by cyclic voltammetry, line sweep voltammetry, and chronocoulometry method. The optimum ratios of TNMPc (M=Fe, Ni, and Cu) and nano-MnO2 were obtained. The relationships of peak current and scan rate were investigated. Furthermore, the number of electron transfer was calculated. The results implied that the dual catalysts showed higher catalytic activities involving a four-electron mechanism for oxygen reduction reaction.
