Abstract
A new dicopper complex [Cu2(L)(N3)2](ClO4)2·4H2O (1) with imidazole-containing macrocyclic polyamine ligand was synthesized, and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-Vis, TGA, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and PXRD. Complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c. The coordination geometry around Cu(II) atom is five-coordinated distorted trigonal-bipyramid, and the imidazole-pendants and the azide anions are located on the different sides of the macrocyclic ligand.
