Preparation of 2,3-Diarylthiazolidin-4-One Derivatives Using Barium Molybdate Nanopowders

Abstract

Barium molybdate (BaMoO₄) nanopowder was successfully synthesized via a simple precipitation route without any surfactant. The prepared nanopowder was applied for the facile synthesis of 2,3-diarylthiazolidin-4-one derivatives using cyclization reaction of aromatic aldehydes, aromatic amines, and thioglycolic acid under ambient condition.
