Abstract
The structure of {Zn1(L1)2(L2)2·4H2O}n (a = 19.8462 (12) Å, b = 8.8249(5) Å, c = 15.7574(10) Å, α = 90º, β = 104.1700(10)º, γ = 90º, V = 2675.8(3) Å3, Z = 4, and space group C2/c) is synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, and X-ray crystallography. Fluorescence analysis indicates that the complex can bind to CT-DNA. Gel electrophoresis assay demonstrates that the complex can interact with plasmid DNA by intercalation.
