ABSTRACT

Solvothermal reaction of MnSO4·H2O with a multifunctional ligand, 2-(3-hydroxylphenyl)-1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid (m-OHPhH3IDC), leads to a three-dimensional polymer {[Mn3(m-OHPhIDC)2(H2O)6]·4H2O}n (1), which has been structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, and IR spectroscopy. Furthermore, thermal properties of polymer 1 has been investigated.
