ABSTRACT
A rare three-coordinated zinc coordination polymer [Zn6(tbip)4(trz)2·H2O]n (1, Htrz = 1,2,4-triazole, H2tbip = 5-tert-butylisophthalic acid) has been synthesized and characterized by IR spectra, elemental analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The title complex features 3-D framework with (3,3,5)-connected (4.6.5)2(42.62.84.102)(62.8) topology based on binuclear [Zn1(N)(COO)]2 cluster motifs. The thermal stability and photoluminescence property of the title complex have been investigated.
