From the Editor

Welcome to issue 10(4) of the Journal of LGBT Issues in Counseling. Historically, the fourth issue is a volume focused on a topic area chosen by the previous year's past president of the Association of LGBT Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC). However, in this issue, rather than the entire issue being devoted to the special topic, our guest coeditors, Drs. Jane Rheineck, Jeffrey Moe, and Catherine Roland selected two articles that address the topic of developmental transitions among individuals who are LGBTQ. Following my letter, Dr. Rheineck provides a brief introduction to the highlighted topic and the two selected articles. Following the two special topic articles are two articles submitted for publication separate from the special topic.

The third article included in this issue is a research study that shines a light on a topic not often addressed in professional literature. The authors explored concordant and discordant sexual and affectional relationships. The final article in this issue presents the results of a study that investigated the experiences of counselors in training who are lesbian and gay. We hope you find the information contained in these articles valuable to your respective work settings. Do not forget that you may complete the Continuing Education (CE) questions at the end of this issue to receive CE credit.
