Abstract
This work was part of the Analog Interactivity exhibit at Sci-Arc, Los Angeles, 2009.
Jeanne Jo investigates the stereotypically gendered, transforming preconceptions about quotidian objects and deceptively simple actions. Her work is about the small gesture and how the smallest gestures may add up to become greater than the sum of their parts. Through sculpture, performance, and video, she articulates connections and exchanges between people and communities.
