Abstract
Although cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is effective in the treatment of patients with drug use disorders, it is difficult to implement for inexperienced interventionists, especially in China. This article describes a structured problem-oriented strategy based on CBT in a group format, which aims to make the implementation of CBT more convenient in practice and to improve the enthusiasm of the participation of patients. The treatment uses an integrated approach by discussing topics oriented by structured problems, teaching important knowledge and training skills, playing psychological games, and so on.
