Mullins, M. (2016) ‘Advancing the science of antidotal use of lipid emulsion’. Clinical Toxicology, http://dx.doi.org/ 10.1080/15563650.2016.1216558
When the commentary above was first published, the first two sentences of the third paragraph read:
With this issue, we have the final installment of the work of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology (AACT) Lipid Emulsion Workgroup.[4] The AACT working group comprised two dozen experts who convened to assess the evidence concerning four facets of antidotal use of ILE.
This has now been corrected in both the print and online versions to read:
With this issue, we have the final installment of the work of the Lipid Emulsion Workgroup.[4] The workgroup comprised two dozen experts (representing the American Academy of ClinicalToxicology, the European Association of Poison Centres andClinical Toxicologists, the Asia Pacific Association of MedicalToxicology, the American College of MedicalToxicology the American Association of Poison ControlCenters, and the Canadian Association of Poison Control Centres) who convened to assess the evidence concerning four facets of antidotal use of ILE.
Additionally, in the final two paragraphs, the commentary incorrectly identified the group as the “AACT working group”. This has now been corrected in both the print and online versions to read the “Lipid Emulsion Workgroup”.
The author regrets the omission and the error. The author acknowledges the unprecedented collaboration of the EAPCCT, APAMT, AAPCC, CAPCC, ACMT, and AACT.
