ABSTRACT
CO2 storage in deep coal seams is one of the safe methods to mitigate the effects of greenhouse. In the present work, experiments of supercritical CO2 adsorption were performed at 35℃, 45℃, and 55℃ on briquettes, the porosity of which can be controlled. Curves of CO2 adsorption increased at three rates at pressures ranging from 8 to 13 MPa, and the adsorption decreased linearly with the increase of temperatures from 35℃ to 55℃. The adsorption of supercritical CO2 was fitted best with Brunauer, Emmett, and Teller model compared with the Langmuir model and Dubinin− Radushkevich model.
