Contribution on Turkey’s electricity production development of primary green energy resources

ABSTRACT

Turkey’s primary energy demand is expected to reach 222.4 megatonnes of oil equivalent by the year 2020. Turkey is one of the top 25 nations in energy consumption. The domestic electricity demand of Turkey is rising by 6% per year. The aim of this study is to assess the contribution on electricity production of primary green energy resources in Turkey to understand realistically the green energy scenario.
