Notes
1. For example, see Adolphe (Citation2012), a well-argued article putting a view that is shared by many traditional Catholics, especially in the USA.
2. The UN's Agenda, agreed in 2015, comprises 17 new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), or Global Goals, which will guide policy and funding for the next 15 years, beginning with a historic pledge to end poverty. The present paper is concerned with SDG5: “Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.”
